I’ve always been fascinated with the idea of living a low-cost lifestyle (while not working) and trying to experience life in a different way. I’ve always thought that I had a few friends throughout the US I could bunk with for short periods of time, but there are plenty of other places to see where I don’t have friends. Enter couch surfing. The New York Times has a nice piece on it (albeit a bit old), but this is an idea I can really get my head around. I may be coming to couch near you.
